The town
A thousand years of history in the open air, all within a day's walk. From the UNESCO-listed abbey to the Gothic cloister of the Jacobins, from private mansions to the remains of the ramparts, Saint-Sever has kept the mark of every century. Six monuments, an arcaded town centre, and, all around, the hills of Gascony: reason enough to take your time over a visit.
